Lexi's New Backyard Playground

Lexi, you are one loved little girl.  That's all there is to it.  Your Daddy really wanted to install a backyard playset for you, so he set about finding one recently.  You do love the park and climbing and playing so much.  We knew you would definitely get some use out of such a set up.  And he found a doozy.  It's a whopper of a two-story playhouse, slide, swing set, climbing wall, and jungle gym, complete with a picnic table underneath.  It is a monster.  

There is nothing this man wouldn't do for you.  We went to look at this set a few weekends ago.  The lady that was selling it was not able to take it apart or help us load it.  So we were on our own.  It was the hottest day of the summer (literally- heat warnings all over the place).  She had zero shade in her yard too.  Anyway, we looked at it and we liked it.  You did too!  You started playing on it immediately.  So we found a Uhaul place and rented a trailer to haul it home.  Then your Daddy set about the process of taking this monster apart and loading it onto the trailer (with almost no help- I tried but there is a limit to what I can do.)

So to make a long story short, your Daddy is a hero.  He found you this beauty, picked it up, hauled it home, unloaded it, and put it back together again.  All for you, my darling.  Again, you are so loved. 

This rig was so high, we had to watch going under power lines and traffic lights closely.  We came within inches a few times.  

Here's Daddy about to start unloading it at home.  You took one look out the window at him backing all this into the driveway, and said "Dada's driving the train!"  It took him the rest of the day to muscle this monster off the trailer, and there it sat until the next day, just there in our side yard.  

Bright and early the next day, Daddy started stabilizing and adding casters to the bottom of the main structure to get it to roll into the back yard.  And it worked!  With the help of our neighbor, Daddy got it moved into place the next day!

And you have been outside enjoying it and playing on it almost every day since.  Just take a look at you in action checking and testing it all out!
