Oh dear, you precious Babydoll, you. We figured this would be the stranger danger year for the Santa photo. You were 18 months old when we did Santa photos this year- it's the prime age for the crying baby photo. We were prepared for that. You always do great with strangers, UNTIL they try to pick you up. I think your Daddy was secretly (read not-so-secretly) hoping for the crying baby photo. Of course, it's not funny at the time, but those photos are especially funny to look back on over the years.
That said, you never did cry. But you did do some fussing, as you can see below. Silly, pretty perfect little girl.
We try to take you to visit Santa before Thanksgiving. always on a weeknight- we have pretty much been guaranteed no lines at all. It's worked out great for two years now. (Thanks to some advice from Santa himself last year.)
And for my records, this year's photo was taken at Cool Springs Galleria. Santa was super friendly.
And here you are last year on your first Christmas. This photo was taken at Bass Pro Shops at Opry Mills Mall in Nashville. You were just mesmerized by Old Saint Nick.
And you did so well with Santa that we took another set of Santa photos at Green Hills Mall in Nashville. This time was pure joy.
We are so in love with you, sweet darling doll. You make Christmas even happier and more special just because you are part of our family now. Merry Christmas, Babydoll!
