Babydoll, this is the official photo that we used for this year's Christmas card. We decided to go with a retro Christmas theme, hence the black and white photo. Daddy sported a bow tie and tweed hat and slacks. Mama wore pearls, gloves, and a fascinator. We also decided to use your sweet nursery as the backdrop since we have an aluminum tree set up for you in there. Of course, we added JoJo the sock monkey for you. You are 19 months old here. And Darling, it's gonna be a very Merry Christmas!
And to take a quick trip down memory lane, here's the Christmas card we created last year. It was your first Christmas. You were 6 months old in this photo. We borrowed an old truck parked out in Leiper's Fork, TN to take this picture.
In 2013, this was our Christmas card. Mama and Daddy spent Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg, TN with Grammie and Pa Pa that year. And it SNOWED big time! We captured beautiful photos, including this one with sister Izzie. You were tucked safely inside Mama's tummy. It was the first time I felt you kick.
In 2012, we just used a little photo from in front of our Christmas tree.
And this is where the photo cards all started. Back in 2011, our first photo card featured Izzie, the Wonder Pup. She was brand new to the family that year, and this card just seemed appropriate.
Oh sweet Lexi, it's such a magical time of year. And it's so fun to walk down memory lane. We love you with all our hearts, Babydoll.
