Lexi Girl, over Easter we finally had an opportunity to wear our matching lemon dresses. When we wear Mommy and Me things, I try not to wear completely matchy matchy stuff. And this is a good example of that. We both wore lemon dresses, similar styles, but obviously different colors.
Your lemon dress came from Gymboree. It was actually part of their Easter collection this year. I thought it was more summery than Eastery, but the price was right- only about $20 after discounts and coupons. And you are wearing a brand new yellow bow from our favorite bow shop- The Pretty Little Princess Bow Shoppe in Evansville. I had just purchased it earlier in the weekend, and it just so happened to match your dress perfectly.
My dress is navy blue with a wonderful lemon print, purchased at New York and Company this spring. It is part of the Eva Mendes collection. When I saw it, I fell in love with it. It is so ME! And I knew you already had the perfect counterpart! I added the beautiful vintage yellow dangle earrings that Daddy gave me and voila!
So there you have it. We have to do this while you are still agreeable to it. :) Love you, Doll!
