Lexi, today was your very first swim lesson, and I'd say it was a HIT! You took straight to Miss Janie, your swim instructor. She had you under water, and bubbling in no time. Of course, you've done those things before so it was pretty easy.
You were so happy, kicking and showing off, smiling, and wanting to do "again"!
Then Dada got in the pool with you and Miss Janie, and you started swimming between the two of them, no problem. You were bubbling and holding your breath, just like you were supposed to. You did a great job kicking and swimming under water.
You are just fearless! I do wonder if there's anything you can't do, my darling. Miss Janie says we need to ditch the floaties from here on out. Wow, that was fast. Just two years old and you are already starting to swim.
Tomorrow is your next lesson and then you will go again through the weekend and once more next week! More reports to come, but for the first lesson, I'm just so impressed and so proud!
Oh, and Miss Janie sent us these pics tonight. They were taken using her special underwater camera and you are smiling in all of them. No shock there!
