Lexi, you visited Santa this week, and while you started out a little timid, you finished strong. We brought along good old Scrooge McDuck, and as luck would have it, Santa knew exactly who he was. That definitely helped to win you over. That, and the distraction of the fan that Santa had blowing right on him. You really liked that fan. You decided that you wanted to ask Santa for a Dominick the Donkey (like the Christmas song) and also a Hippopotamus for Christmas (like your other favorite Christmas song.)
You sat beautifully with Santa for several pics, and here is the result. Voila!
Last year's photo was decidedly more fussy! But every bit just as precious to me. You were only 18 months old, and I'm sure that Santa looked a little intimidating to you. You never actually cried, just fussed. And that's what we captured in this little photo.
And your first round with Santa went so well, we did it twice. You were only about 6 months old in these photos back from 2014.
Christmas through the years! I sure do love a good tradition, and I do love my sweet sweet Babydoll! Merry Christmas, Lexi girl!
