Lexi, we have been working on the idea of using the potty like a big girl for a while now, but to say you have been resistant to that idea would be an understatement. And I haven't wanted to force the idea for fear that it would make it worse. You are still only 2, after all.
We have tried everything from different kinds of potties, rewards, songs, books, running water, standing on my head. EVERYTHING! But recently we got you a new potty that plays music when you tinkle and has a little "flusher" on it that lights up and makes a flushing sound. You seem to like it and are starting to come around.
But just this week, you had a breakthrough. You went tinkle on the potty for the very first time!!!!
LEXI, WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!! We all started dancing and making a big deal about it. You got up and started dancing all around the bathroom too! And you got a big sucker to celebrate!
Let's keep it going Lexi! You are such a big girl, and we are so proud of you, my darling!
