Lexi, they say that a dog is man's best friend. But I've never seen anything like this. Izzie has been by your side since Day 1, and the bond just keeps getting stronger. Now, you call her "sissy", and you two share toys and secrets. I love to see how much you love her, and the feeling is quite mutual. She adores you, dear girl. It makes my heart smile.
Here you are as a newborn. You were 5 days old, I think, and just home for the hospital. Izzie took to you instantly.
Again, here is our protective little Izzie watching over her sister. You were 3 months old, and these photos were taken in the back yard.
Another photo taken at 3 months. We've never tried to keep you two apart. It wouldn't have worked anyway. :)
Fast forward to early 2015, and here you both are again for your 9 month photos. I think this one may just be my very favorite (so far).

UPDATE!
For the Forth of July, 2015, we got these photos of the two of you together. And they are so super special. You would have been around 14 months old here.
At 15 months, I asked Daddy to capture a few pictures to mark that milestone birthdate. Here are a few favorites of the two of you together again.
