Lexi and her Giant Floor Puzzle

Edit Posted by with No comments
Lexi, you received this giant floor puzzle for Christmas.  We first saw it in a toy store in Charleston, SC last summer.  You were too little for it then, but I tucked it away and didn't forget it.

Each piece is in the shape of an animal, and represents a letter in the alphabet.  When it's all assembled, it is about 3 feet in length.  You LOVE dumping all the pieces onto the floor and then putting them back in the box.

But more than anything, you LOVE this piece- the "L" piece.  It's a lion.  But you call it a "mouse".  I have tried to correct you several times but nothing works.  You always find that "mouse" and then drag it all over the house.  If you can't find it, you call out to it.  You look for it, and then enlist us to help you find it.  You and this mouse are pretty tight.

I caught you in the act here.  You had just dumped all the pieces out and found your "mouse".  It's in your right hand in the photo below.  You are also holding the J block - a jellyfish- in your other hand.  It's a close second to the mouse.   Funny, the things kids are drawn to.

Love you, gorgeous girl.  Just keep doing your thing, babydoll.  :)
